Psychological Safety: Emerging Environment

Psychological Safety is the shared belief within a team or organisation that it is safe to take interpersonal risks without the fear of negative consequences.

It is an essential part of a healthy work environment where individuals feel safe being themselves, expressing their ideas and opinions, and taking risks without the fear of judgement, rejection, or retaliation.

The presence of psychological safety has been found to positively impact performance, innovation, collaboration, and overall well-being. It allows for the free flow of ideas, encourages engagement, and promotes a sense of belonging, leading to higher levels of satisfaction and productivity within the team or organisation.

Our Model

We bring a multilevel approach to relationships to build Psychological Safety at the four key dimensions:

  • Individual
  • Team
  • Organisation
  • External Environment

Every level is in relationship with the other.

Every level impacts and is impacted by the other.

It’s a continuous, dynamic & emergent process
